Finhorizon AG, founded by Andreas Zimmermann and Axel Dubs in April 2014, combines more than 20 years of experience in the development, programming and implementation of risk management systems for banks, practical experience in providing traditional and digital investment advice and leading private banking organisations.
Dr. Andreas J. Zimmermann
Dr. Andreas J. Zimmermann has worked in economic and finance research for over 20 years. He was professor for economics at Zurich University, with focus on monetary economics and macroeconomics. He served Credit Suisse developing its credit risk management tools. As a KPMG partner he led banking risk management teams in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. For a leading Chinese bank in Hong Kong he was responsible for the design and implementation of an end-to-end credit risk management framework. He studied in Rochester and Zurich completed his studies in economics and econometrics at the University of Zurich with a doctorate and state doctorate and was visiting scholar at Harvard University.
Axel Dubs
Axel Dubs' career in the financial industry and in highly ranked finance positions spans over more than 15 years. He started as an advisor working on financial industry projects and moved on managing financial projects all over the world. As CFO of a listed Swiss IT service company he was responsible for the implementation of integrated management systems and investor relations. He served as CFO in one of the largest private banking groups in Switzerland. He has profound experience in investment research as well as in developing start-up and growth companies. He earned a Master of Arts at the University of Zurich and lectured Controlling at the Zurich Business School for many years.
